The 2027 Ford Everest has landed with a new special edition, a handful of equipment tweaks and, more importantly for buyers, sharp drive-away pricing across the four-cylinder range. Ford is advertising the 2027 Everest Active 2.0L from $60,000 drive-away, the Sport 2.0L from $70,000 drive-away and the new Wolftrak 2.0L from $73,000 drive-away.
Those are Ford's recommended drive-away prices at participating dealers, for private buyers and smaller fleet customers, and Ford says it can vary them at any time. In other words, they are offers, not permanent list prices. That matters for how you negotiate.
The Wolftrak Is the Everest Wildtrak's Green Replacement
The headline addition is the Everest Wolftrak, which takes over from the limited-run Everest Wildtrak sold during the 2026.5 model year. It borrows the green theme already seen on the Ranger, with Zest Green exterior accents, a distinctive honeycomb grille and Traction Green highlights inside.
Traction Green paint, previously associated with the Ranger Super Duty, is the Wolftrak's hero colour. Shadow Black and Command Grey are also offered if you want the kit without the attention.
Inside, the Wolftrak gets its own front seats with contrast Traction Green stitching. Ford also fits an integrated trailer brake controller, and the Wolftrak comes with the Premium Towing Pack as standard rather than as an option.
Four-Cylinder or V6: Choose the Engine Before the Paint
Unlike the Wildtrak it replaces, the Wolftrak is offered with both Everest engines. The 2.0-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder makes 125kW and 405Nm, while the 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 makes 184kW and 600Nm. Both use a 10-speed automatic.
The four-cylinder is the one with the $73,000 drive-away sticker. The V6 Wolftrak is listed from $79,990 before on-road costs, so once registration, stamp duty and dealer delivery are added, the real gap between the two is wider than the headline numbers suggest.
There is a drivetrain difference to understand too. On Ford's MY27 spec sheet, the 2.0-litre Active and Sport use a part-time 4x4 system, while V6 versions get full-time 4WD. If you tow heavy or drive on mixed surfaces, that is worth more than any badge.
What Ford Changed Across the 2027 Everest Range
The rest of the 2027 Everest update is small. The Active and Sport now use synthetic leather seat trim, and second-row passengers get two USB-C ports across the range.
Matrix LED headlights and the panoramic roof with power blind are listed only on the flagship Platinum for MY27. If those features were on your shortlist, budget for the top of the range rather than assuming the Wolftrak inherits them from the old Wildtrak.
Mechanically, nothing moves. If you want the background on the four-cylinder change Ford made earlier this year, our explainer on the Ranger and Everest single-turbo engine covers what buyers gave up and why.
Towing Numbers Every Everest Buyer Should Check
Every 2027 Everest variant carries a 3,500kg maximum braked towing capacity on Ford's spec sheet, using a genuine Ford tow pack. That is the number caravan owners care about, and it is the reason the Wolftrak's standard towing kit is more than cosmetic.
Ford's Premium Towing Pack bundles a tow bar with hitch, integrated trailer brake controller, trailer connection alarm, blind spot monitoring with trailer coverage and Pro Trailer Backup Assist. On the Sport it is an extra-cost factory option.
That makes the $3,000 drive-away gap between the Sport 2.0L and Wolftrak 2.0L easier to justify. If you would have ticked the towing pack anyway, the Wolftrak's styling costs you very little.
Fuel use is the trade-off for V6 muscle. Ford quotes 7.1L/100km combined for the four-cylinder Sport and 8.5L/100km for the V6 Sport, and real towing will push both well higher.
The $4,000 Fuel Card Changes the V6 Maths
Ford is also running a $4,000 fuel card offer until 31 December 2026 on eligible V6 Everest models, including the 2027 Everest Wolftrak 3.0L V6. Buyers can take an equivalent in-deal discount instead of the card.
That is the detail most showroom conversations skip. If a salesperson is steering you to the four-cylinder Wolftrak because of the $73,000 headline, ask what the V6 lands at once the $4,000 is taken off the price.
Ford's new seven-year warranty also applies to vehicles delivered from 1 September 2026, on the condition that every service is done at a Ford dealer within the set intervals. Factor dealer servicing costs into the total cost of ownership, not just the sticker.
How Dealers Will Play the Everest Wolftrak
Special editions with a hero colour tend to be the cars dealers order for the showroom floor, and they are often the ones with the least discount in them. Expect the green Wolftrak to be pushed as the must-have version while plain Sport stock sits on the lot.
That gives you leverage. A Sport with the towing pack added, or a run-out 2026.5 Everest, may be the better deal depending on what is in stock. Ask for written drive-away quotes on more than one variant before you commit.
The Everest still faces strong competition in the seven-seat 4x4 segment from the Toyota LandCruiser Prado, Isuzu MU-X, Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Cross-shopping them is the simplest way to keep a Ford dealer honest.
Paying for a $70,000-Plus Family 4x4
At this price, most Everest buyers finance at least part of the purchase, and dealer finance is where a good drive-away deal can quietly lose its value. A rate that looks fine in the showroom can add thousands over a five-year loan.
Loanseekers compares more than 70 lenders, so you can check the dealer's finance offer on an Everest against the wider market before you sign anything.
How Can Carseekers Help?
The 2027 Everest offers make the price look simple, but the best deal depends on variant, engine, stock and which incentive applies. Carseekers gets dealers to compete for your business, so you can see real drive-away prices on the Ford Everest without doing the showroom rounds yourself.
If you are weighing the Everest against its ute sibling, the Ford Ranger can also be sourced through Carseekers, and our earlier look at the Everest Wildtrak V6 shows what the outgoing special edition offered.
The finer details

What is the cheapest 2027 Ford Everest?
The Everest Active 2.0L is the entry point, advertised from $60,000 drive-away. The Sport 2.0L follows from $70,000 drive-away. Both are recommended drive-away prices for private and smaller fleet buyers at participating dealers.
What engines does the 2027 Ford Everest have?
There are two turbo-diesels. The 2.0-litre four-cylinder makes 125kW and 405Nm, and the 3.0-litre V6 makes 184kW and 600Nm. Both use a 10-speed automatic, and V6 versions get full-time 4WD.
Is the Ford Everest Wolftrak worth it over the Sport?
The four-cylinder Wolftrak is $3,000 more than the Sport 2.0L on drive-away offers, and it includes the Premium Towing Pack that is an extra-cost option on the Sport. If you tow, that makes the Wolftrak good value. If you do not, a well-discounted Sport may be the smarter buy.
How do I get the best deal on a new Ford Everest?
Get written drive-away quotes on more than one variant and ask how the $4,000 fuel card offer on eligible V6 models applies. Compare stock across several dealers rather than accepting the first special edition on the floor. Carseekers can get dealers competing on price for you.
How much can the 2027 Ford Everest tow?
Every 2027 Everest variant is rated to tow up to 3,500kg braked, using a genuine Ford tow pack. Check that your loaded vehicle and trailer stay within the gross vehicle and gross combined mass limits.
